It is Tuesday morning after a busy, yet satisfying weekend. I am constantly amazed how much there is to learn. Since 1992 I have been doing Numerology charts for strangers, friends and family. However, when I get down to basics in a workshop situation, where I have to fetch the thread of numbers at the bottom of the hill, it becomes clear that there is really no bottom - and no ceiling. For instance, have you ever looked at the order in which Creation happened? It is written that it took 7 days; yet the Sun (our measurement of day and night) was only created on the 3rd day.
What was particularly interesting for me is that I frequently compare the nature of number 5 to the transformation of the butterfly/moth - egg to worm to cocoon to butterfly/moth to egg - a circular, horizontal and 2 dimensional movement. My date of birth adds up to 5 and it is therefore of particular interest to me how this operates and for quite some time I have been feeling like I am going around in circles. It is quite evident to me that although I have experienced changes, they have been predictable, boring and constant - so very unlike the exciting, flexible and movable qualities contained in the energy of the number 5.
So, this weekend I took another hard look at myself and decided to focus on the wonderful theory of Darwin and applying his insights to the numbers. The result was a whole new dimension opened up and the evolution of the fish became the focus point. I will not re-invent the wheel by attempting to explain the whole theory (google it if you want to know more) but instead I will suggest that you imagine the state of someone that has lived in water (the emotions) or perhaps someone who has been reactive all their lives. One's skin goes all funny after spending a long time in the bath and would probably go almost scaly after a lifetime in the tub. Now stretch your imagination and see this person developing wings and simply fly away, leaving behind the water and all its impurities. Now that's what I'd like to achieve!!
The most amazing penny dropped when I realized that on the 5th day of Creation, fish and birds were created. Imagine That!!!
Perhaps I should just remind you of my background but that is a topic for another day. We'll chat soon!

A LIFE WORTH LIVING
My very first 'blog' and I am dumbstruck. I suppose to begin at the beginning would be the best route. So, here goes....
My name is Kate Rheeders and I live very close to the international airport outside Johannesburg in sunny South Africa. My mother always said that I needed to get a real job because the one I do seem to be unreal and, she was right. My days are filled with people and their issues - both good issues and the not-so-good issues. My job is to offer subjectivity to them when they are in the 'eye of the storm'. This I do through the knowledge and wisdom in the ancient system of Kabalah.
My intensions with this blog is to share my thoughts and feelings about the difficulties and pleasures that are common to us all. I would like therefore to bend your ear about what troubles me in others and also what excites me in the lives of my fellow human beings. I like humour and when I make light of things, it is usually only when I find them heavy, so, please forgive me in advance if I offend you.
